The following items were taken from area police department reports and news releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Andrew Lacksonen, 18, of the 8700 block of Tayport Drive, Dublin, Ohio;

Harrison Moriarty, 18, of the 200 block of Sylvester Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri.; and

Mitchell Westfahl, 18, of the W234N7700 block of Cranberry Court, Sussex, Wisconsin, were each charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 6:46 a.m. Sept. 4.

Bruce Heimer, 58, of the 200 block of East Columbia Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged with domestic battery at 5:02 p.m. Sept. 2.

Refugio Fernandez Jr., 23, of the 200 block of West Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery at 6:07 p.m. Sept. 4.

A resident of the 100 block of Addison Avenue reported at 12:13 p.m. Sept. 1 that after three staff members of a cleaning service left her unit, her engagement ring was missing from a portable safe.

A GPS unit was reported taken from an unlocked truck in the 100 block of West Industrial Drive between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 2.

Kari McKeen, 38, of the 600 block of South Euclid Avenue, Villa Park, was charged with endangering the life of a child at 7:18 p.m. Sept. 7 after witnesses reported an intoxicated woman fell while attempting to ride a bicycle with a child on board. The child was treated for minor injuries, police said.

George Hronopoulos, 62, of the 200 block of East Lake Street, Bloomingdale, was charged with criminal damage to property and harassment through electronic communications at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 1 in connection with an incident on Aug. 13.

The front passenger side window of a moving vehicle on the 600 block of South Saylor Avenue was reported damaged by a BB gun around 6 p.m. Sept. 1.

Someone reportedly spray painted a PODS container on Elmhurst Park District property at Berens Park, 493 N. Oaklawn Ave., between 6 a.m. Aug. 31 and 8:17 a.m. Sept. 2.

Gerardo Duran, 27, of the 1000 block of Elizabeth Street, West Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended driver’s license and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash at 11:03 a.m. Sept. 1.

Daniel Bautista, 22, of the 2200 block of North Laporte Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of cannabis, illegal possession of cannabis by a driver, driving without insurance and improper lane use at 11:23 p.m. Sept. 6.

Branko Filimonovic, 46, of the 100 block of West 15th Street, Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance at 2:53 p.m. Sept. 7.

David Zika, 41, of the 200 block of South Cornell Avenue, Villa Park, was charged with driving under the influence, obstructing justice, resisting a peace officer, reckless driving, improper lane use, driving the wrong way and driving without insurance at 10:06 p.m. Sept. 2.

Luis Medina, 25, of the 100 block of Michael Lane, Addison, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use at 1:13 a.m. Sept. 3.

Cristobal Aleman-Jimenez, 40, of the 100 block of South Villa Avenue, Addison, was charged with driving under the influence and driving on unsafe tires at 4:56 a.m. Sept. 3.

Marvin Lopez-Lopez, 37, of the 1000 block of South Argyle Street, Bensenville, was charged with driving under the influence, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, improper lane use, improper lighting, driving without insurance and possession of open alcohol by a driver at 1:23 a.m. Sept. 5.

A representative of Inter Ocean Cabinet Co., 920 N. Larch Ave., reported Sept. 6 that his bank advised of two unsuccessful attempts to cash fraudulent checks made out to an unknown suspect in Atlanta, Ga.

A resident reported an unknown suspect used his information to rent an apartment between September of last year and Aug. 19 of this year.

A resident reported someone tried use the resident’s information to open bank accounts between Aug. 12 and Aug. 14.

A resident reported someone used her information to open a cellphone account on Aug. 18.

A resident reported someone applied for a credit car using his information on Aug. 25. The resident was able to close the account.

A resident reported Sept. 6 that an unknown suspect accessed the family’s Verizon account, interrupted their cell service and also bought an internet device on the account.

A light blue Reid Sport Disc mountain bicycle was reported stolen from a rack where it was secured in the 100 block of West Butterfield Road between 3 p.m. Aug. 29 and 9 a.m. Aug. 30.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a white Chevrolet Express van at Glass America, 770 N. Church Rd., between 4:30 p.m. Sept. 1 and 9:10 a.m. Sept. 2.

In the same area, catalytic converters were reported taken from three Chevrolet Express vans at Rotech, 747 N. Church Rd., between 6 p.m. Sept. 1 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 2.

Catalytic converters were reported taken from a Ford Econoline and a Chevrolet Equinox in a lot at Allied Universal Technology Services, 435 W. Fullerton Ave., on Sept. 2.

Catalytic converters were reported taken from two trucks in the 400 block of West Fullerton Avenue between 3 p.m. Sept. 1 and noon Sept. 2.

Cash was reported taken from a wallet left unattended in a conference room in the 500 block of West. Lake Street between 8 a.m. and noon Sept. 1.

A resident reported Sept. 6 that he never received a firearm owners identification card (FOID) mailed to him in early August.

An unknown person purporting to be an employee of Inter Ocean Cabinet Co., 920 N. Larch Ave., emailed the company to change his direct deposit bank information. A company representative reported on Sept. 2 learning the emails were fraudulent.

Three unknown females suspects reportedly took clothing from Kohl’s, 303 S. Route 83, about 12:25 p.m. Sept. 7 and left the area westbound on St. Charles Road in a silver Nissan SUV.

A wallet was reported taken from the purse of a shopper in Whole Foods, 265 S. Route 83, between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept 7. The owner later discovered a fraudulent transaction on her account.

Ernesto Paguntalan, 51, of the 400 block of North Kevin Drive, Addison, was cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without insurance at 9:05 a.m. Sept. 1.

Joselino Perez-Garcia, 33, of the 1000 block of South York Road, Bensenville, was charged with obstructing identification, driving with a revoked driver’s license, driving without insurance and with expired license plates at 7:19 a.m. Sept. 2.

Michael Ramsey, 51, of the 3300 block of West Flournoy Street, Chicago, was charged with driving with a revoked driver’s license, driving without insurance and driving with suspended registration at 6 p.m. Sept. 5.

Genese Dadzie, 36, of the 100 block of George Street, Bensenville, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and driving with only one headlight at 9:35 p.m. Sept. 5.

Manuel Perez, 26, of the 2100 block of Highland Avenue, Berwyn, was cited for driving without insurance and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 4:52 p.m. Sept. 6.
