ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Russell D. Disney, 33, is accused of aggravated assault, and was arrested at 12:49 a.m. Aug. 12, in the 2200 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $100 and a court date of Aug. 31 was assigned.

Robin M. Edwards, 34, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 4:49 a.m. Aug. 12, at Walgreens, 0-10 block of E. Golf Road. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Aug. 31 was assigned.

Rosana Gonzalez, 27, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, driving on a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, and was arrested at 3:45 a.m. Aug. 18, in the 80 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Sept. 26 was assigned.

James M. Krook, 54, is accused of kidnapping, child luring, and was arrested at 4:47 p.m. Aug. 16, in the 2100 block of S. Goebbert Road. There was no bond and a court date of Aug. 22 was assigned. Read more: Arlington Heights Man Lured Kids To Apartment, Took Off Clothes

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT

Paul R. Mougeotte, 27, is accused of leaving the scene of a car accident, failure to report an accident, and was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Aug. 16, at W. Palatine Road and N. Kennicott Avenue. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Aug. 31 was assigned.

Kamil Stanislawczyk, 19, is accused of possession of cannabis (more than 30 grams but less than 500), operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 8:10 a.m. Aug. 17, at McKinley Avenue and Orchard Street. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.

LAST WEEK: Child Pornography Bust Made

A resident in the 100 block of E. Sigwalt Street called police to report that during the overnight hours of Aug. 8, she found the exterior garage door was ajar and damaged. The resident then checked the interior garage door and observed tool markings on the door. The suspect is described as a male with shaggy black hair and brown eyes, about 5-foot-8, with a skinny build, worn clothes and an accent.

THEFT OF MOTOR PARTS OR ACCESSORIES

A person reported at 2:50 a.m. Aug. 8, the catalytic converter was stolen off his red 2004 Honda in the 600 block of E. Northwest Highway. Video surveillance showed four subjects exit a sedan and proceed to lift the car with a jack and cut the catalytic converter. One of the subjects had a handgun visible in his hand. The cost to replace the catalytic converter is unknown.

A person reported they found gold-colored spray paint on different ares of the building which consisted of "M," "W," "O," a smiley face, "DJ," "penis," "storage room," a stick figure and a face in the 1800 block of N. Dale Avenue. The incident occurred during the overnight hours of Aug. 11. The cost to remove the spray paint was unknown at the time of the report.
