Madison Police released photos of two men who were caught on video after allegedly stealing a catalytic converter from a vehicle on the city's East Side.

The theft was reported at 9:30 p.m., July 24, at 1300 Tompkins Drive, where police were dispatched after a caller reported that someone had cut off the catalytic converter overnight, according in an incident report released Thursday by Madison police Sgt. Scott Reitmeier.

The MPD is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

People with information regarding the crime are asked to call the Madison Police Department at 608-255-2345.

Those who contact Crime Stoppers can receive up to $1,000 in cash rewards for tips that lead to an arrest.

UW-Madison police reported that 66 people were ejected from Camp Randall Stadium and 32 people were arrested during Saturday’s game between the Badgers and New Mexico State.

Authorities were releasing no information Tuesday as to the identity of the victim.

The driver and passenger in the first vehicle died at the scene, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office. 

According to police, Jason Wray killed his wife, Jessica Wray, Sunday, then walked into traffic on Interstate 90 and killed himself.

A woman said the man plied her with alcohol until she was unconscious. 

Mark Wagner appeared in Dane County Circuit Court Thursday on a charge of second-degree recklessly endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.

A 13-year-old and a 12-year-old have been arrested in a spree of four Madison gas station burglaries overnight Sept. 6 into Sept. 7, Madison police reported.

A man wanted in Dane County was arrested Thursday in Beaver Dam after attempting to evade police in a stolen vehicle, police reported.

UPDATE: Madison police say Laniyah R. Hampton has been found, but Paul Williams III remains at large and that they are no longer looking for either vehicle in the case.

A bicyclist was injured crashing into the side of a vehicle Downtown on Monday afternoon, Madison police reported.
